Secure the User: Sharp Accounts code and User Authentication (LDAP) features assure that only authorized users can access the Scan, Print, Fax, Store and Copy MFP functions.

Secure the Output: Both Confidential Print and Secure Print Release are security solutions that prevent users from having access to confidential, printed documents without appropriate identification.

Secure the Image Data: The Common Criteria validated data security solutions first encrypts and then overwrites confidential document image data stored on the MFP's document filing, hard disk, RAM and/or Flash memory during the copying, printing, scanning and faxing process.

Secure the Network Interface: New secure network interface provides MAC and IP address filtering limiting direct connections to authorized clients and servers. It also enables administrators to disable protocols and close ports, thereby greatly reducing vulnerability to both external and internal threats. This unique interface (not based on Windows / Linux) protects from viruses and malicious EXE files, protects intentionally or inadvertently changing the network settings, is free from "Security Patch Administration" and launching of denial of service attacks.
